Carrollton, Ohio · Est. in Faith
"and let us consider [thoughtfully] how we may encourage one another to love and to do good deeds, not forsaking our meeting together [as believers for worship and instruction], as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more [faithfully] as you see the day [of Christ's return] approaching." — Hebrews 10:24–25

Open to AllWhat We Believe
We affirm the following biblical truths and doctrines as the foundation of our faith and practice.
The Scriptures
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, written by holy men as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. We accept the New Covenant, as recorded in the New Testament, as our infallible guide for conduct and doctrine.
The Godhead
We believe in the triune Godhead: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These are three distinct persons who are eternally self-existent, self-revealed, and united as one. We believe Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh, co-equal and co-eternal with the Father and the Holy Spirit.
Man, His Fall, and Redemption
We believe man was created good and upright in the image and likeness of God. Through voluntary transgression, man fell, and his only hope of redemption is through Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
Salvation of Man
We believe salvation is the free gift of God and that a personal relationship with Him is received through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe Christ provided salvation and divine healing through His death on the cross, and that all who repent, believe in His death, burial, and resurrection, and confess Him as Lord may spend eternity with God.
We believe God's will for believers is wholeness and success in every area of life, including spiritual, mental, physical, and emotional life.
We believe the inward evidence of salvation is the direct witness of the Spirit, and the outward evidence is a life of righteousness and true holiness.
We believe salvation is by faith in Jesus Christ and not by human works, though works will determine rewards in eternity.
The Church
We believe the Church is one Body and one holy temple of the living God, made up of both Jew and Gentile. We believe the Church is the habitation of God through the Spirit and is divinely appointed to fulfill the Great Commission.
Baptism in the Holy Spirit
We believe all believers are entitled to and should seek the baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire, which provides power for life and service and the gifts for ministry. We believe this experience is distinct from and subsequent to the new birth and is accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking with other tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance.
Sanctification
We believe in sanctification as a definite yet progressive work of grace, beginning at regeneration and continuing until Christ's return. We believe holiness is necessary, for without it no one shall see the Lord.
Ordinances
We believe the two ordinances of a New Testament church are water baptism and the Lord's Supper. We believe baptism by immersion is for those who have repented and believed in Christ, and that it symbolizes identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. We also believe in faithfully observing Holy Communion in remembrance of Christ's body and blood.
Human Sexuality
We believe God instituted monogamous marriage between one man and one woman as the foundation of the family. We believe sexual intimacy is reserved for marriage between a man and a woman, and that sexual activity outside that covenant is inconsistent with biblical teaching and Christian life.
Blessed Hope and the Return of Christ
We believe Jesus Christ will return to gather His saints to Heaven. We believe His coming is imminent, that the dead in Christ will rise first, and that believers who are alive at His coming will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air. We believe He will return after the Tribulation to rule and reign, and that afterward there will be a new heaven and a new earth.
Hell and Eternal Retribution
We believe those who die without accepting the redemptive work of Jesus Christ are eternally lost and will suffer eternal separation from God, with no further opportunity to repent. We believe this is the second death and the lake of fire.
The Great Commission
We exist to glorify God by making disciples of all nations — starting in Carrollton, extending to Ohio, and reaching to the ends of the earth.
Our Global Partnership
Carrollton Believers Fellowship is a proud partner of New Covenant World Missions — a global ministry committed to planting churches, training indigenous leaders, and bringing the gospel to unreached people groups around the world.
Together we are reaching the nations through prayer, financial support, and sending members of our congregation to the mission field. Every dollar given and every prayer offered advances the Kingdom beyond our walls.
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."— Matthew 28:19
